Hello, everyone! This is Linda Fields, and I need volunteers. I’m organizing the Maker’s Market, and I need your help with setup and takedown. If I get enough volunteers, it would only take about an hour or so of your time. The Maker’s Market is on November 7th at Church of the City’s parking lot on Main Street. The Market is from 11 am to 4 pm. In the morning, I need 8 volunteers at 8:30 am to mark off the spaces, number the spaces with duct tape, and set up traffic cones where needed. We have 27 vendors participating. I need 3-5 volunteers at 9:30 am to help direct vendors to their spaces and parking area. I need a volunteer to get balloons to attach to our sign by 9 am. The sign will be next to the road, and I already have a volunteer to install the sign. And then, there is clean-up. I think I will need 6 volunteers in the afternoon starting around 3:45 pm. These volunteers will take up the traffic cones, take down the sign and balloons, help direct vendors back to their space, and pick up duct tape and any other remaining garbage.
